This is where you set the RPM at which the VVA activates on the gen3.
To the best of my understanding, the VVA is about having a slightly milder cam at low/mid RPM to improve torque, and then switching to the “normal” cam profile (optimised for flat out operations) at the threshold specified.
The point is that I’m not sure there’s a lot of reason to set it lower, or higher, though I would be interested to test to see if it makes any difference.
